EXPANSION NEWS

Following the announcement of the School-Based Nursery Capital Grant, we are thrilled to share that Haslington Primary Academy & Nursery will soon be expanding its nursery provision. This funding will allow us to increase capacity and welcome more children into our setting — including those starting from 2 years old.

We are reaching out to parents in the local community to help us understand the level of interest in securing a place at Haslington Nursery from September 2025.

If you – or someone you know – is interested in their child starting with us in September 2025, please express your interest by completing the form using the link below.

OUR MISSION

Haslington Nursery aims to provide the highest standard in care and education, where children are inspired to learn and develop. We aim to provide a safe, secure, stimulating and nurturing environment, whilst working in partnership with parents and carers to help children learn, play and develop. We feel that when children are relaxed, safe, valued and having fun, it builds their confidence and develops independence making them happier to learn and paving the way for a seamless transition from childcare to education within our primary school.

By working together we can support the development of your child by sharing information about your child’s needs, interests and progress. We work within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum in order to provide exciting opportunities to encourage the children to learn through play.

OUR AIMS

  • Provide excellent high quality care for children below statutory school age in order to provide the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Provide a safe, secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment that invites the children to learn through play.
  • Create opportunities for the children to be inspired to learn and develop in an encouraging environment.
  • Encourage communication through positive play.

  • Work in partnership with parents, carers and guardians to help children to learn, play and develop to their full potential.
  • Contribute positively to the local community and parents, carers and guardians , providing a setting which promotes inclusion, equality and values diversity.
