YEAR 1
MRS FOWLER
Year 1 is currently taught by Mrs Fowler, who has been a member of staff at Haslington Primary since 2009. She is an experienced and enthusiastic teacher, having taught for over 25 years. She has lots of experience of teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. She enjoys teaching lots of different subjects but particularly enjoys Art and English. It is important to Mrs Fowler that children develop a love of learning and of reading and enjoy coming to school.
Mrs Fowler is the lead for early reading and phonics which is taught daily through Read, Write, Inc., Art and Design Technology.
This year Mrs Harris is supporting the children in Year 1. She is an excellent and experienced TA, who is caring and nurturing towards the children. She is also excellent at creating a beautiful learning environment in our classroom, with her artistic flair.
We also welcome Mrs Gray to the team who will be supporting the children in our class.
